Counter Punch and Mustang Jock, both 11-year-olds, will stand in 2011 at Eva Jo Sparks’ Equine Athletic Center near Guthrie, Okla. Formerly at Running R Ranch in Louisiana, each will stand for $1,200.

The durable Mustang Jock won or placed in 20 of 40 races and earned $157,796. He ran second in the Count Fleet Stakes at Aqueduct. By Wild Again, Mustang Jock is out of the Easy Goer mare Fair Settlement, who is a half sister to graded stakes winners Party Manners and Sovereign Duty, and traces in female family to the blue hen mare Lady Be Good.

Counter Punch, who traces in female family to the blue hen mare Square Angel, won or placed in 11 of 32 races. By Cozzene out of the Storm Cat mare Imaginary Cat, he is a half brother to four stakes performers, including stakes winners Imaginary Sailor and Cause to Believe, who was a graded stakes winner. Counter Punch’s second dam is grade I winner Cuddles.
