Affirmatif, a stakes winner from the female family of major sire Tapit  , has been retired from racing for stallion duty at Randy Gammill’s Diamond G Ranch near Edmond, Okla. His fee is $1,000.

Affirmatif recorded a 100 Beyer Speed Figure in a nine-length triumph on grass at a mile at Gulfstream Park in his first start. He won the Woodlawn Stakes on turf and placed in three stakes, including the Hill Prince Stakes (gr. III) and a stakes at Saratoga. During his career, he won or placed in 10 of 13 starts and earned $187,798.

By Unbridled’s Song, Affirmatif is a half brother to stakes winner Chitoz and is out of the winning Affirmed mare Wichitoz, who is a half sister to champion sprinter and successful sire Rubiano and to Tapit’s stakes-winning dam. The family includes additional successful stallions Relaunch and Glitterman.
