Might, a 3-year-old full sister to 2010 champion older male and Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) winner Blame  , ran second at Fair Grounds Feb. 20 as the 11-10 favorite in her career debut. The daughter of Claiborne stallion Arch   finished a nose behind Nakano in the six-furlong, maiden special weight event. Nakano also is by a Claiborne stallion, First Samurai  .

Might races as a homebred for Claiborne and Adele Dilschneider, the same partnership that campaigned Blame, who entered stud this year at Claiborne near Paris, Ky. Claiborne is owned by members of the Hancock family.

Blame and Might are out of the Seeking the Gold mare Liable, whose other foals include stakes winner Tend.
