Keeneland will initiate a Pick Five wager, with a 50-cent minimum, for its 2011 spring race meet. The Pick Five, a wager in which fans select the winner of five consecutive races, will replace the Pick Six.

“We continually review our wagering options in an effort to give our customers the products that they want,” said W.B. Rogers Beasley, Keeneland’s vice president of racing. “The Pick Five has proven very popular among fans in other states, so we are excited to be able to offer it at Keeneland this spring.”
The Keeneland spring race meet will be held April 8-29; post time is at 1:15 p.m. EST daily. There is no racing on Mondays and Tuesdays, or Easter Sunday, April 24.
