Greatness, a 12-year-old son of Mr. Prospector, has arrived for stallion duty at Randolph Thoroughbreds near Ocala, Fla. His fee is $2,000 live foal. Greatness, who is owned by a syndicate, formerly stood at Ghost Ridge Farm near Felton, Pa.
Greatness has sired 14 stakes horses, 73% winners from starters, and the earners of more than $5 million. Four of his runners are stakes performers this year. Wiredfortwotwenty is a stakes winner, and Good Lord, Great Attack, and Amazing are stakes-placed. Amazing, who ran second in the $300,000 Sunshine Millions Distaff in January, has won two stakes in her career and has lifetime earnings of $411,947.
Greatness, out of the stakes-winning Danzig mare Harbour Club, is a half brother to stakes winner Holzmeister and the dam of grade I winner Game Face.
