Papa Clem's First Foal Is a Colt

The first reported foal by grade II winner Papa Clem is a colt born Jan. 25 at Valley Oak Ranch near Oakdale, Calif. Jack Owens is the breeder.

The newborn colt is out of the winning, producing Slewdledo mare Candi Capri.

Papa Clem (Smart Strike —Miss Houdini, by Belong to Me ) stands at Legacy Ranch near Clements, Calif. His 2011 fee is $6,500.
