Heza Wild Guy is Indiana Horse of the Year

Heza Wild Guy, a son of Wild Event--Hebe’s Halo, by Sunny’s Halo, was honored Jan. 22 as Indiana-bred Horse of the Year and champion Indiana-bred older male.

Bred by Circle S Ranch, Heza Wild Guy won three of six starts, all in stakes, in 2010 for trainer Bernell B. Rhone. A 9-year-old in 2010, Heza Wild Guy improved his career record to 29 wins in 71 starts, with earnings of $622,168.
