With temperatures falling to 7 degrees and wind chill at minus 4 degrees, Turfway Park In Florence, Ky., has canceled live racing on Friday after finishing three races without incident. The track remains open for simulcasting.
Because the band scheduled for tonight would not have gone on until 9:30 p.m., their appearance has been canceled as well and will be rescheduled.
Live racing is expected to resume Saturday, with first post at 1:10 p.m.
