Graded stakes winner Bittel Road will enter stud in 2011 at Foot Fall Farm near Palmyra, Ind. The 5-year-old son of Stormy Atlantic will stand for $1,500.
Bittel Road did his best running as a 2-year-old. He won Keeneland's Woodford Reserve Bourbon Stakes (gr. IIIT) and the With Anticipation Stakes on grass at Saratoga. In California, he ran second in the Generous Stakes (gr. IIIT) and fourth in the CashCall Futurity (gr. I).
At 3 Bittel Road captured the Monarch’s Maze Stakes. He was retired with four wins and earnings of $336,194.
Bittel Road is out of the winning Sultry Song mare Sultry Sal, who is a full sister to graded stakes winner Top Notch Lady.
