Grand Reward to Ghost Ridge in Pennsylvania

Grade II winner Grand Reward, by Storm Cat out of champion Serena’s Song, will stand in 2011 at Ghost Ridge Farm near York, Pa. His fee is $4,000.

Grand Reward, who previously stood at Hill ‘n’ Dale Farms near Lexington, is represented by 11 stakes horses from his first crop. They include Grand Rapport, winner of this year’s Kent Stakes (gr. IIIT) and second in the National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes (gr. IIT), plus multiple graded stakes-placed Guys Reward.

Grand Reward ranks among the leaders on the 2010  Pennsylvania sires’ list. His runners have earned more than $2.5 million this year.

Grand Reward, winner of the 2005 Oaklawn Handicap (gr. II), is one of five stakes winners out of Serena’s Song (by Rahy).
