Laptop Computer to Allen Farm

Stakes-placed Laptop Computer, one of seven stakes performers produced from his dam, will enter stud in 2011 at Allen Farm near Winnsboro, La. The 7-year-old son of Notebook will stand for a private fee.

Laptop Computer won or placed in eight of 15 races and earned $162,322. He ran second in the 2006 Lafayette Stakes at Keeneland and finished fourth in that year's Carry Back Stakes (gr. II) at Calder Race Course. At Gulfstream Park, he proved speedy enough to win in 1:09.51 at six furlongs.

A Florida-bred, Laptop Computer is out of the winning Talc mare Video Cassette and is a full brother to stakes winners Danaher Steve and Desktop, both of whom are sires, and a half brother to four stakes-placed runners. All 11 of Video Cassette’s offspring are winners.
