Bred in Florida by Jacks or Better Farm and raced by his breeder, Brooks 'n Down won two of 29 starts, with a third in the Oak Hall Stakes at Evangeline Downs among his 10 placings, and earned $87,097.
Produced from multiple stakes winner Precious Feather, by Gone West, Brooks 'n Down is a half brother to Awesome Feather, whose six victories against no defeats have been highlighted by this year’s Grey Goose Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I).
