The first day of racing on Aqueduct’s inner track that ushers in the winter meet has been delayed after the New York Racing Association announced live racing would be canceled Wednesday, Dec. 1.
Citing heavy rains and high winds in the New York City area, NYRA also announced that no simulcasting would take place at Aqueduct. However, NYRA Rewards telebet and internet wagering operations were scheduled to be open.
The inner track meet at Aqueduct runs through March 2011.
