Millennium Farms at Moon Lake near Elm Grove, La., will stand seven stallions for the 2011 breeding season. Owned by John Turner and the estate of the late John Franks, the farm is affiliated with Ro Parra’s Millennium Farms Kentucky near Lexington.
The following are the 2011 stallions and their fees:
Chatain (Forest Wildcat—Roujoleur, by Red Ransom) at $2,500; Scrimshaw (Gulch—Rogue Girl, by Sham) at $2,500; Shaniko (A.P. Indy—Sapphire n’ Silk, by Pleasant Tap) at $2,500; Woke Up Dreamin (Holy Bull—Dreamlike, by Storm Cat) at $2,500; Littleexpectations (Valid Appeal--Mepache, by Iron Constitution) at $2,000; A.P. Delta (A.P. Indy—Lyphard’s Delta, by Lyphard) at $1,500; and Lone Star Special (Malabar Gold—Sunshine Special, by Tactical Advantage) at $1,000.
Terms for all stallions are live foal, stands and nurses.
