Sub-freezing temperatures and the resulting track condition led Portland Meadows to cancel live racing for Nov. 23.

Racing is scheduled to resume Nov. 24 with first post at 12:40 p.m. PST.

With temperatures expected to rise over the holiday weekend, the second XpressBet Jockey Challenge is still on tap for Nov. 29. Top riders from Southern California--Joel Rosario, Joe Talamo, David Flores, and Martin Pedroza—will travel to Oregon to ride in a four-race challenge series against Portland Meadows’ top four riders.

HRTV will cover the event, and there will be a $25,000 guaranteed pick four on the four challenge races.
