Due to an insufficient number of entries, the live racing card scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 24, at Golden Gate Fields has been canceled, the track announced.

Golden Gate, in Albany, Calif., will be open that day for simulcast wagering. The track would have been running that day without the support of  a live card at Hollywood Park in Southern California. Hollywood's autumn meet is on a four-day race week schedule in November.

Clubhouse gates at Golden Gate open at 10 a.m. PST for simulcasting from Churchill Downs, Aqueduct, Laurel Park, Hawthorne Race Course, Portland Meadows, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, and Woodbine.

Golden Gate Fields will host a special Thanksgiving Day racing program Nov. 25. The holiday program will begin early with a first post time of 11:15 a.m.
