Grand Reward to Ghost Ridge in Pennsylvania

Grand Reward will relocate to Ghost Ridge Farms in Pennsylvania, it was announced Nov. 19.

Grand Reward, who previously stood at Hill ‘n’ Dale Farms near Lexington, is the sire of 11 first-crop stakes performers including $250,000 Kent Stakes (gr. IIIT) winner Grand Rapport. Grand Reward (Storm Cat—Serena’s Song) currently ranks in the top five on the second-crop sire list by number of 2010 winners.
“Ghost Ridge is delighted to offer this impeccably-bred son of sire of sires Storm Cat to the breeders of the Mid- Atlantic region,” said general manager Carl McEntee.
Grand Reward joins the roster that includes Smarty Jones  , E Dubai  , Jump Start  , and Greatness  .
A stud fee of $4,000 stands and nurses has been set for Grand Reward in 2011.
