John Toffan and Trudy McCaffery's undefeated 2-year-old Came Home will stand at William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm near Versailles, Ky., when he retires from racing, the nursery announced Friday. Came Home has won all three of his starts, including the Hopeful Stakes (gr. I) at Saratoga, where he recorded the fastest time since the race was changed to seven furlongs in 1994.

Came Home is by Gone West out of the Clever Trick mare Nice Assay, a graded winner and dam of grade II winner A.P. Assay, by A.P. Indy. Came Home broke his maiden June 3 by eight lengths at Hollywood Park, and returned to capture the grade III Hollywood Juvenile Championship by four lengths. Came Home is next expected to start in the one mile Norfolk Stakes (gr. II) at Oak Tree at Santa Anita Sept. 29. Plans are to race him next year as well.
