Two Mares Top Early Part of Keeneland Day 3

With the Nov. 8-9 select sessions in the rear-view mirror, the Keeneland November breeding stock sale began Book 2 on Nov. 10 with two mares each selling for $260,000 during the early portion of the day.

Shadiyna, a 5-year-old daughter of Dubai Destination, was purchased by Yushun Company for $260,000 from the Middlebrook Farm consignment. Produced from the group II-winning mare Shamadara, the mare is a half sister to two stakes winners, including Italian group I winner Shamdala.

Shadiyna was sold in foal to Harlan's Holiday  .

Also brining $260,000 was The Best Day Ever, a multiple graded-placed 4-year-old mare by Brahms bought by River Bend Farm. In foal to Bernardini  , The Best Day Ever was consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency.

Produced from the grade III-winning Lord At War mare Added Asset, the mare is a half sister to the dam of multiple stakes winner Timeless Fashion.
