Honest Man, a multiple graded stakes winner, has been retired from racing to stand in 2011 at Jay Adcock’s Red River Farms near Coushatta, La. The 6-year-old son of Unbridled's Song   will stand for $2,000.

A $700,000 Keeneland September sale yearling, Honest Man recorded six triple-digit Beyer Speed Figures. He won or placed in 10 of 17 races and earned $488,167 for Rick Porter’s Fox Hill Farms.

Honest Man captured the 2008 Philip H. Iselin Stakes (gr. III) at Monmouth Park and the 2009 Mineshaft Handicap (gr. III) at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots. He placed in the Salvator Mile Handicap (gr. III) and the Louisiana Handicap.

Racehorse Management is the breeder of Honest Man, whose dam, grade I winner Oath (by Known Fact), is a half sister to champion and Bessemer Trust Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (gr. I) winner War Pass.

Honest Man will stand as the property of Red River, with Porter retaining breeding rights.

The deal was structured by Brett St. Amand Bloodstock.
