Awesome Again  , who stands at Frank Stronach’s Adena Springs near Paris, Ky., will stand for the same $50,000 fee in 2011 that he stood for in 2010.

His career total of 39 stakes winners include 2010 grade I winner Awesome Gem. Ghostzapper  , a son of Awesome Again and a Horse of the Year, will stand for $20,000, down from $30,000 last breeding season.

Stronach, who will stand seven stallions at his Kentucky farm, also will stand stallions at Adena Springs Canada in Aurora, Ontario, and at Joe and Ann McMahon’s McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds near Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Stronach also will stand Olmodavor at Rich and Gaby Sulpizio’s Magali Farms near Santa Ynez, Calif.

All fees listed above are payable when a live foal stands and nurses. However, Adena Springs will offer the following discount opportunities: live foal guarantee contracts that are payable Nov. 1, 2011, will qualify for a 20% discount off the advertised stands and nurses price.

Alternatively, breeders who pay the full advertised stud fee in their local market will be given a 20% reduction on any additional mare bred to a stallion in a different market. For example, a breeder who pays the full advertised stud fee for Milwaukee Brew in Canada will enjoy a 20% fee reduction of the advertised stands and nurses price for any stallion on the Kentucky or New York roster.
