Irish stakes winner Heart Shaped brought a top bid of $1,550,000 during the Nov. 9 session of the Keeneland November breeding stock sale in Lexington.

The 4-year-old daughter of Storm Cat in foal to A.P. Indy, was consigned by Eaton Sales and was purchased by Tom Goff of Blandford Bloodstock on behalf of an unidentified client.

“She is a lovely, big mare," Goff said. "Storm Cat mare mares in foal to A.P. Indy don't grow on trees.”

Goff said the buyer is a “long-standing American client of Blandford.”

Bred in Kentucky by Brushwood Stable, Heart Shaped won the E.B.F. Marble Hill Stakes in Ireland.
