Giant's Causeway Filly Brings $2,550,000

Hip #378, Dreamtheimpossible in foal to Galileo brings $2,550,000 at the Keeneland November Mixed Breeding Stock sale.

Dreamtheimpossible, a daughter of Giant's Causeway   in foal to Galileo, was purchased by Adena Springs Farm for $2,550,000, the highest price so far during the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.

A 4-year-old filly who was group I-placed in England, Dreamtheimpossible is out of the $3.5 million earner Spain (by Thunder Gulch) and is a half-sister to group III winner Plan.

Bred in Kentucky by Dromoland, Dreamtheimpossible was sold in foal to Galileo, the Vodafone Epsom Derby (Eng-I) winner who is leading sire in England and Ireland.

Eric Hamelback signed the ticket on behalf of Adena Springs.

Not long after Dreamtheimpossible went through the ring, two other mares brought seven-figure bids.

Elusive Sparkle was purchased by Waratah Thoroughbred Pty Ltd., for $1.2 million from the consignment of Mill Ridge Sales. A daughter of Elusive Quality  , Elusive Sparkle is a half-sister to Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) winner Street Sense  . The 5-year-old mare was sold in foal to Street Cry, the sire of Street Sense.

Fit Right In, an 8-year-old daughter of Out of Place in foal to Curlin  , was purchased by Katsumi Yoshida for $1,050,000. Consigned by Burleson Farms, Fit Right In is the dam of Ballerina (gr. I) winner Rightly So.
