Some Breeders' Cup Runners Set to Be Sold

Some horses competing in the Breeders’ Cup World Championships Nov. 5 and 6 at Churchill Downs will be headed to the sale ring immediately afterward. In addition, the dams of some Breeders’ Cup runners are scheduled to be sold.

Six runners in the 14-horse field for the $1 million Filly & Mare Sprint (gr. I) are cataloged for the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky November select mixed auction, which will be held Nov. 7 in Lexington. They are Gabby's Golden Gal, Switch, Rinterval, Jessica Is Back, Dubai Majesty, and Rightly So. First Passage, on the also eligible list for the race after the draw, is also cataloged for the auction.

Other horses scheduled to compete in the Breeders’ Cup that are also listed in the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky November sale catalog are A Z Warrior and Awesome Feather ($ 2 million Grey Goose Juvenile Fillies, gr. I); Life At Ten ($2 million Ladies Classic, gr. I), Canadian Ballet ($1 million Turf Sprint, gr. IIT), and Waveline (Turf Sprint).

Miss Keller, who is in the $2 million Emirates Airline Filly & Mare Turf (gr. IT) field, is cataloged for the Keeneland November breeding stock auction, which will begin its 13-day run Nov. 8 in Lexington.

The Fasig-Tipton Kentucky November sale offerings also are scheduled to include Little Bonnet, the dam of Boys At Tosconova   ($2 million Grey Goose Juvenile, gr. I), and Playa Maya, the dam of Uncle Mo   (Grey Goose Juvenile).

Listed in the Keeneland November breeding stock sale’s catalog are Great Plains Lady, the dam of Rose Catherine (Turf Sprint); Just Reward, the dam of Persistently ($2 million Ladies Classic, gr. I); World of Gold, the dam of Dakota Phone ($1 million Dirt Mile, gr. I); Fit Right In, the dam of Rightly So (Filly & Mare Sprint); Lucky One, the dam of Blind Luck (Ladies Classic); and Miss Jeanne Cat, the dam of Murjan (Grey Goose Juvenile).

The Keeneland auction starts its 12-day run in Lexington Nov. 8.
