Midday 6-5 Choice to Repeat in F&M Turf
Juddmonte Farms' homebred Midday was made the 6-5 morning line favorite to repeat in the Nov. 5 Emirates Airline Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (gr. IT). Sharing the shortest morning line odds among all Breeders' Cup contenders with the Breeders' Cup Mile's (gr. IT) favorite Goldikova, Midday is the winner of three consecutive group I races in Europe faces a field of 10 and will break from post 7 under Tom Queally. The Filly & Mare Turf will be run at 1 3/8 miles. Midday is a Juddmonte Farms homebred by Oasis Dream out of Midsummer, by Kingmambo. Second choice in the field at 6-1 is Harmonious, who just beat Evening Jewel and Zagora in the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes (gr. IT0 at Keeneland Oct. 16. John Shirreffs trains the daughter of Dynaformer—Jade Tree, by Storm Cat, for Marty and Pam Wygod and Emily Wygod. Marty and Pam Wygod bred the filly, who also won the 1 1/4-mile American Oaks Stakes (gr. IT) at Hollywood Park.
