Babae Needs Top Form in Noble Damsel

In the $100,000 Noble Damsel (gr. IIIT) Saturday at Belmont Park, Joseph Platt Jr's Babae has been in top form and will need to stay there to best a competitive field of fillies and mares going one mile on the turf.
Babae comes off a second-place finish in the grade III Ballston Spa Breeders' Cup and the grade II Diana. Babae's opposition includes the top two finishers from Del Mar's Osunitas, Paga and La Ronge.
The field for the $100,000 Noble Damsel includes: La Ronge (Richard Migliore, 115); Iftiraas (Jerry Bailey, 115); Zeiting (Edgar Prado, 114); Windsong (Javier Castellano, 113): Verruma (Jose Santos, 113); Cozzy Corner (Shaun Bridgmohan, 110); Collect the Cash (Aaron Gryder, 115); Paga (Mike Smith, 118); Tippity Witch (Jorge Chavez, 113); Babae (John Velazquez, 115).
Also eligiable: Sitka (Javier Castellan, 112); Shine Again (Jean-Luc Samyn, 111); Tugger (no rider named, 119); and Princess Ellen (no rider named, 117).
