The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association will hold a Thoroughbred pedigree and conformation clinic in Lexington Oct. 18-19.

The clinic, sponsored by Blood-Horse Publications, will feature conformation presentations and live evaluations, as well as pedigree discussions that will include nicking, dosage, outcrossing, and inbreeding. Clinic speakers will include Dr. Michael Hore, Ed Anthony, Rob Keck, Terry Arnold, and Ned Toffey. The clinic will feature tours of Dixiana Farm, Hagyard Davidson McGee Equine Hospital, and Spendthrift Farm.

The clinic will begin at 8 a.m. at the Hilton Downtown Hotel and Conference Center in downtown Lexington. The registration fee for the clinic is $250 for TOBA members and $300 for non-members and includes all support materials, breakfast, and lunch.

The pedigree and conformation clinic concludes TOBA’s seminar and clinic schedule for 2010. The 2011 schedule will be posted on www.toba.org in December. For more information, contact Erin Crady at 859-276-2291 or ecrady@toba.org.
