Cush, a multiple stakes-placed runner from the female family of successful first-crop stallion First Samurai  , will enter stud in 2011 at Michele Rodriguez and Lee Daniel Thomas’ Elite Thoroughbreds near Folsom, La. The 5-year-old son of Arch   will stand for $1,250.

Cush was stakes-placed three separate years for breeder/owner Stewart Madison. He ran third in the Louisiana Futurity at Fair Grounds as a 2-year-old. At 3, he finished third in the Free Spirit’s Joy Stakes at Louisiana Downs, and at 4, he ran second in the Big Earl Stakes at Louisiana Downs. During his career, he won or placed in 10 of 18 races and earned $206,934.

A Louisiana-bred, Cush is out of the Coronado's Quest mare Think Pink. His second dam is a stakes-winning half sister to the stakes-winning dam of grade I winner First Samurai.
