Actress and California Horse Racing Board member Bo Derek will be the featured speaker at a brunch being held in conjunction with the Nov. 5-6 Breeders’ Cup World Championships in Louisville, Ky.
The brunch, organized by the Breeders’ Cup Host Committee, is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. (ET) Nov. 4 at the Galt House Hotel and Suites. Proceeds from the event will benefit The V Foundation for Cancer Research.
ESPN’s Kenny Mayne and ESPN radio analyst and V Foundation board member Bob Valvano will host the brunch.
The Breeders’ Cup Host Committee is comprised of corporate and civic leaders and members of the Thoroughbred industry. In conjunction with Breeders’ Cup Ltd and Churchill Downs, Inc., the Host Committee will be offering a special ticket offer for the Nov. 5 World Championships card for those who purchase tables to the brunch. Each table purchased will include 20 grandstand tickets to the Nov. 5 races.
