Live racing returns to Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course the evening of Sept. 29 after a more than two-week break for renovation of the racing surface.
Racing will be held four days a week (Wednesday through Saturday) will first post time of 6:30 p.m. Eastern time.
A regularly-scheduled track maintenance project started immediately after racing Sept. 11, and training resumed early the week of Sept. 20 in preparation for the final three months of the 2010 season.
So far this year, Dana Whitney leads the jockey standings with 109 wins from 659 mounts in his first full season at Penn National. Trainer Murray Rojas tops all conditioners with 59 winners, four more than defending champion Stephanie Beattie.
