Reigning Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra turned in a bullet work Sept. 27 at Saratoga on the Oklahoma Training track, breezing four furlongs in :48.45. Her time was the best of 49 horses working at that distance.

Others that worked at four furlongs included grade I winner Proviso (:49.50) and grade II winner Dynaslew(:51.10).

The breeze was the third since the daughter of Medaglia d'Oro  —Lotta Kim, by El Prado, finished second to Persistently in the Personal Ensign Stakes (gr. I).

Rachel Alexandra also produced a five furlong bullet work in 1:00 3/5 Sept. 13 and breezed six furlongs in 1:12 Sept. 20, both on the Oklahoma track.
