Undefeated Zenyatta worked six furlongs Sept. 25 in 1:13 4/5 at Hollywood Park, completing her serious preparation for the $250,000 Lady’s Secret Stakes, Presented by TVG (gr. I).

The 6-year-old Street Cry mare, who is undefeated in 18 starts, worked with stablemate El Vino. They were timed over the Cushion Track by Hollywood Park clocker Russ Hudak.

Owned by Jerry and Ann Moss and trained by John Shirreffs, Zenyatta ran the first three furlongs in :37 3/5 seconds and completed the final three-eighths of a mile in :36 2/5.

She has won the Lady’s Secret the last two years. A win in the Oct. 2 race would be Zenyatta’s eighth over the Hollywood Park main track and tie her with New Mexico's Peppers Pride for the modern day record for consecutive victories. Zenyatta has been stabled at Hollywood Park throughout her career.

The Lady’s Secret is one of four grade I stakes that will be run on the opening weekend of the first Oak Tree at Hollywood Park meet. The card will also include the $250,000 Goodwood Stakes, the $250,000 Norfolk Stakes and the $250,000 Yellow Ribbon Stakes.
