Grade II winner Greeley's Galaxy sired his first winner when his son Seek to Destroy scored Sept. 21 at Finger Lakes. Campaigned by trainer Charlton Baker, Seek to Destroy ran the six furlongs in 1:13.02 to win by a head.

Bred in New York by Howard and Susan Kaskel’s Sugar Maple Farm, Greeley’s Galaxy is a half brother to stakes winner Trinity Magic and is out of the Pine Bluff mare Miz Pickens.

Winner of the 2005 Illinois Derby (gr. II) by 9 1/2 lengths, Greeley’s Galaxy (Mr. Greeley--Ascot Starre, by Ascot Knight) stands at Sugar Maple near Poughquag, N.Y. His 2010 fee was $3,500.
