Undefeated mare Zenyatta worked six furlongs in 1:13 1/5 at Hollywood Park on Sept. 10 as she continues to prepare for her next start in the Oct. 2 Lady’s Secret Stakes (gr. I) at Hollywood. The time was the second fastest of 14 horses working the distance over the artificial Cushion Track surface.

The 6-year-old daughter of Street Cry trained by John Shirreffs for Jerry and Ann Moss has won the 1 1/16-mile Lady’s Secret each of the last two years when it was run as part of the Oak Tree at Santa Anita meet.

Zenyatta, who is 18-for-18, is scheduled to use the Lady’s Secret as a prep for her defense of the Nov. 6 Breeders’ Cup Classic (gr. I) she won last year.
