Ruler's Court Sires First Winner

The first winner by grade II winner Ruler's Court won by seven lengths Sept. 4 at Evangeline Downs in his first start (VIDEO). Classy Ruler captured the 5 1/2-furlong race in 1:06.47 for Coteau Grove Farms.

Allen Guillotte Jr. is the breeder of Louisiana-bred Classy Ruler, who is a half brother to stakes winner Classy Deelites and the fourth winner from five foals of racing age out of the winning Sky Classic mare Classy Aly.

Winner of the Norfolk Stakes (gr. II), Ruler’s Court (Doneraile Court—Future Guest, by Copelan) stands at Holly Hill Farm near Benton, La. His 2010 fee was $2,000.
