Grade I winner Artie Schiller came through with his first winner when his daughter Anne’s Beauty won Aug. 27 at Woodbine for owner Robert Smithen. The Kentucky-bred filly won the 6 1/2-furlong race by 2 1/4 lengths in 1:18.80 (VIDEO).
Richard Forbush and Doug Oliver are the breeders of Anne’s Beauty, who is the second winner from two foals of racing age out out the winning Sea Wall mare Lucky Streak.
Winner of the 2005 NetJets Breeders’ Cup Mile (gr. IT), Artie Schiller (El Prado—Hidden Light, by Majestic Light) stands at Ben P. Walden Jr.’s Pauls Mills near Versailles, Ky. His 2010 fee was $15,000.
