Orthodox Retired to Stand in Louisiana

Orthodox won the 2009 American Turf Stakes (gr. IIIT) at Churchill Downs.

Grade III winner Orthodox has been retired and will enter stud in 2011 at Lora Pitre’s Peach Lane Farms near Opelousas, La. The 4-year-old son of Pulpit  -Dominque’s Joy, by Strawberry Road, is owned by a partnership and will stand for a fee of $1,000 live foal.

A homebred racing for John and Kim Glenney and trained by John Glenney, Orhtodox won three of 12 career starts, including the 2009 American Turf Stakes (gr. IIIT) at Churchill Downs. Orthodox retired with earnings of $183,683.
