China Visit, Godolphin Racing's son of Red Ransom who finished sixth in the 2000 Kentucky Derby (gr. I), was upset in Thursday's GNER White Rose Park Stakes (Eng-III) at England's Doncaster Racecourse. The winner of the 1-mile test was Tough Speed, a 4-year-old son of Miswaki bred in Kentucky by Iron County Farms. China Visit, the 10-3 favorite ridden by Frankie Dettori, finished a half-length behind the 6-1 winner. The final time over a course labeled good was 1:39.38.Produced from the Nijinsky II mare Nature's Music, Tough Speed has three wins in eight career starts, with his previous best being a second in the Price Waterhouse Coopers Hambleton Rated Stakes for owner Saeed Suhail and trainer Michael Stoute.Doncaster reported on-track attendance of 11,200 for the Lady's Day card Thursday, with on-course betting of £260,765.
