Michigan stallion Baptistry sired his first winner when his son Ride That Ticket won at Pinnacle Race Course Aug. 14. Making his second start, Ride That Ticket won at five furlongs by three-quarters of a length in 1:01.85 for breeder/owner Carol Rettele.

A Michigan-bred, Ride That Ticket is the third winner out of the winning Northern Park mare Skirt in the Wind.

Ride That Ticket is one of two foals of racing age by Baptistry (Deputy Minister—Sister Act, by Saint Ballado). Baptistry stands at Sprintland Training Center near Northville, Mich. His 2010 fee was $1,000.
