Val's Prince Returns in Bernard Baruch

A field of 14 is entered for the $150,000 Bernard Baruch Handicap (gr. IIT), Friday's Saratoga feature, which is highlighted by the return to the races of Val's Prince. 8-year-old Val's Prince is the 120 pound highweight for the Bernard Baruch despite being sidelined since an 11th place finish in the Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. IT) in November while a dispute over his ownership was settled. The gelded son of Eternal Prince--who won two grade I turf races last year--concedes from five to nine pounds to his 13 rivals Friday.
