Imperialism’s first winner, Talavera, won at six furlongs in 1:14.20 for Cuadra Tayson July 30. Scott Francois is the breeder of the Florida-bred filly, who is out of the stakes-placed Bound by Honor mare Milady’s Honor.
A three-time grade II winner, Imperialism (Langfuhr --Bodhavista, by Pass the Tab) stands at Manuel Andrade’s Get Away Farm near Ocala, Fla. His 2010 fee was $5,000.
