Graded stakes winner Andromeda's Hero was represented by his first winner when his son Leadfootxpress scored at Suffolk Downs Aug. 9. Campaigned by trainer Ernest L. Smith, Leadfootxpress got up to win by a neck after trailing by 4 1/2 lengths at the eighth pole. His time for the 5 1/2 furlongs was 1:07.62.
Silvernails Bloodstock is the breeder of New York-bred Leadfootxpress, who is the first foal out of the Storm Boot mare The Other Shoe. The mare’s yearling colt and weanling filly are full siblings to Leadfootxpress.
