Champion Added Edge Sires First Winner

Ginger Added won her initial start to become the first winner by Canadian champion Added Edge. Owned and trained by Dick R. Clark, Ginger Added rallied to win the 5 1/2-furlong race by 1 3/4 lengths in 1:05.35 at Prairie Meadows.

Special K Stable is the breeder of Iowa-bred Ginger Added, who is the second winner from the winning Fred Astaire mare G. U. Ginger. Ginger Added's second dam is stakes winner G. U. Dreamer.

Added Edge (Smart Strike  —Sweet Nostalgia, by Mr. Redoy) stands at Special K near Runnels, Iowa. His 2010 fee was $1,500.
