English group winner Bertolini has been retired from racing and will enter stud at Overbury Stud in England. A son of Danzig, Bertolini finished in the top three in 13 of his 23 starts and earned $723,750 in England, France, and Dubai. Both his wins came in stakes and his 10 stakes-placings included efforts in five group I events. Bertolini initially raced for Sheikh Mohammed al Maktoum and later in the name of the Maktoum family's Godolphin.

Bertolini is the first foal from grade II winner Aquilegia (by Alydar). His second dam is Kentucky Broodmare of the Year Courtly Dee.

Bertolini will stand for £4,000 (approximately $5,800) as the property of Sheikh Mohammed's Darley Stud Management.
