First Winner by The Daddy

The Daddy, winner of the 2005 Super Derby (gr. II), came through with his first winner when his daughter Please Daddy won at Delaware Park Aug. 2. Racing as a homebred for Brereton C. Jones, Please Daddy got up to win the six-furlong race by 1 1/4 lengths in 1:13.44.

A Kentucky-bred, Please Daddy is the fifth winner from the Silver Hawk mare Family Silver, whose dam is Saratoga grade I winner Family Enterprize.

The Daddy (Valid Expectations  —With a Princess, by With Approval) stands at Jones’ Airdrie Stud near Midway, Ky. His 2010 fee was $2,500.
