Parvenu Is First Winner by Rockport Harbor

Grade II winnerRockport Harbor   came through with his initial winner when his daughter Parvenu scored at Philadelphia Park Aug. 1 in her debut. Campaigned by Someday Farm and Josh Tulane Farm, Parvenu ran the 4 1/2 furlongs in :52.91 to win by a half-length.

Patricia L. Chapman and John C. Servis are the breeders of Parvenu, who is the first foal out of the stakes-placed Concern mare Last Toots.

Rockport Harbor (Unbridled's Song  —Regal Miss Copelan, by Copelan) also is the sire Minutesandtouches, who ran third in the Hollywood Juvenile Championship Stakes (gr. III). Rockport Harbor stands at Sheikh Mohammed’s Darley near Lexington. His 2010 fee was $12,500.
