Shane Glass has been named stallion manager at Pauls Mill. The Versailles, Ky., farm is owned by Ben Walden Jr. and his wife, Elaine, and is located near Versailles, Ky.

Shane spent the past 14 years as assistant stallion manager at Robert N. Clay’s Three Chimneys Farm near Midway, Ky. During that time, he also oversaw the management of stallions at Eliza Park Stud in Australia, Fayette Park Stud in New Zealand, and Haras de Pirque in Chile.

“Shane’s career has now come full circle,” Ben Walden said. “He started with me at Vinery (near Lexington) as a groom under Alistair Roden, and it’s great to have him back. Every stallion under his care means the world to Shane, and that’s why we chose him.”
