War Front Sires First Winner

Saratoga grade II winner War Front   came through with his first winner when his daughter Action Nine won July 23 at Woodbine.Trailing by 2 1/2 lengths with a furlong to run, the filly scored by three-quarters of a length in :58.54 in the five-furlong $40,000 maiden claiming race (VIDEO). Action Nine races for Dan Gale, Winston Penny, and Ballylynch Racing.

Cashel Stud is the breeder of Action Nine, a Florida-bred out of the stakes-winning Glitterman mare Nancy’s Glitter. Action Nine is a half-sister to stakes-placed Glittering Tax and Jane’s Kid.

War Front (Danzig—Starry Dreamer, by Rubiano) stands at the Hancock family’s Claiborne Farm near Paris, Ky. His 2010 fee was $10,000.
