Millionaire Vision and Verse, who ran second in the Belmont (gr. I) and Travers (gr. I) Stakes, will enter stud for $7,500 live foal in 2002 at John Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Farms near Lexington. A 5-year-old son of Storm Cat, Vision and Verse won the 1999 Illinois Derby (gr. II) on his way to earning $1,030,330. He was second to champion Lemon Drop Kid in both the Belmont and Travers, and his four other graded stakes-placings included a third-place finish in the Jockey Club Gold Cup (gr. I). A four-time winner, Vision and Verse was produced from grade I stakes-placed Bunting (by Private Account).
