Unbridled Energy Sires First Winner

Runaway Joan became the initial winner by grade II winner Unbridled Energy   when she sped away to win by nine lengths at Calder July 9. Campaigned by Breakin Wind Farm, she ran the five furlongs in 1:00.76.

Michelle Redding is the breeder of Florida-bred Runaway Joan, who is the second winner from two foals of racing age from the stakes-placed Dixieland Heat mare Dandy Dulce.

Unbridled Energy (Unbridled's Song  —Ataentsic, by Hold Your Peace) stands at Pope McLean’s Crestwood Farm near Lexington. His 2010 fee was $6,000.
